In general wUPER functions can be put into two categories: System functions and Wireless functions.

System functions are used to configure and monitor the state of the device that is connected to the USB port. These functions are executed by the same device. Both router and nodes recognize these functions.

Wireless functions are the ones that will be sent (or have been received) over the wireless connection and executed on the target device. Although these functions are initially sent to the router over the USB connection, they are not executed on it. Instead router redirects these functions over the wireless connection to the specific target node.
